Chad Ochocinco tweeted out to his fans that he would buy dinner for the first 200 people who met him at Slyvia's restaurant in Harlem, NY.
"Dinner in NY tonight --> 1st 200 people at Sylvia's Restaurant by 7 pm in Harlem. Leave ya money/credit cards at home. I got you this time," the football player tweeted on Monday night.
It took only minutes before people started showing up to receive their free dinners.
"This was totally unplanned. That's the cool thing about Chad," said Tren'ness Woods-Black, granddaughter of the founder of the restaurant and head of public relations.
The first lucky 200 dined on ribs, fried chicken, collard greens and macaroni and cheese. Ochocinco also gave out his phone number to his guests.
"Being able to reach out is better than a picture," he said.
